Instructions

Begin with properly fired cone 04 stoneware bisque. Moisten a sponge and wipe bisque to remove any dust.
Fill a writer bottle with SW-128 Cordovan and apply a swirl starting at the center of the plate and moving outward.
Repeat the previous step with SW-401 Light Flux.
Using a fan brush, apply 3 coats of SW-184 Speckled Toad
Use a damp sponge to wipe away any glaze that may have gotten on the foot. 6. Fire to cone 5/6. Sample piece was fired to cone 6
