Small Fluted Engobe Bowl

1. Begin with properly fired shelf cone 04 bisque. Moisten a clean sponge and wipe bisque to remove any dust. 
2. With a Soft Fan Brush, apply 2 coats of EG005 Black Engobe to the entire inside and outside of the bowl, including the bottom. 
3. Apply 2 coats of SW211 Glacier Blue to the entire inside of the bowl and to the top ½ of the outside of the bowl using a Soft Fan Brush. 
4. Using a Soft Fan Brush apply 2 coats of SW251 Pink Opal to the entire bowl and to the top ½ of the outside of the bowl. 
5. Fire to cone 6.

Additional Adaptations & Tips  

• You do not need to wipe off engobe from the bottom of the piece. Engobe does not stick to the kiln shelf 
• You do not need to stilt this piece.
