Instructions

  1. Wipe dust from bisque with damp sponge
  2. Using #8 soft fan brush (RB140) apply 2 coats of SW-501 White Gloss to inside of plate.
  3. In a separate bowl mix 1 part SW501 White gloss and 1 part SW-511 Pink Gloss to create a custom lighter pink color glaze.
  4. With 12mm ½” low tack masking tape (MC002) tape off desired check pattern horizontally.
  5. Apply 2 coats of mixed lighter pink custom glaze with #8 soft fan brush (RB140).
  6. Remove tape before completely dry.
  7. After tape is removed, let plate dry completely.
  8. Once dry, using same 12mm ½” low tack masking tape (MC002) tape, create second check pattern vertically over pink glaze.
  9. In another separate bowl mix 1 part SW501 White Gloss and 1 part SW504 Red Gloss to create a custom lighter red color glaze.
  10. Apply 2 coats of mixed lighter red custom glaze with #8 soft fan brush (RB140).
  11. Remove tape before glaze is completely dry.
  12. Fire to cone 6.
