Jungle Gems and Stoneware Bottles

Instructions

Begin with soft fired stoneware bisque.
Moisten a clean sponge and wipe bisque to remove any dust.
Use a fan brush to apply 3 coats either Bright Green Gloss of Lava Rock to the bottom ¾ of the bottle, avoiding the foot.
Use a fan brush to apply 2 coats of CG-982 Mixed Melon to the top 1/3 of the bottle. Overlapping the bottom glaze slightly.
Thin glaze to the consistency of heavy cream and roll the interior of the bottle with a glaze of your choice.
Use a clean sponge to wipe the excess glaze off of the foot.
Fire to cone 5/6. (Sample was fired to cone 6)
