Honeycomb Bee Engobe Mug

Instructions

Wipe dust from bisque with a damp sponge.
Using a #4 soft fan brush (RB144) apply 2 coats of EG003 Brick Red Engobe to the bottom 1/2 of the mug and handle.
Let dry completely.
Using a #4 soft fan brush (RB144) apply 3 coats of SW215 Micro Champagne to bottom 2/3 of the mug, over the engobe including the handle.
Apply SW302 Rutile Wash to the entire inside of the mug and to the top 2” of the outside of the mug.
On a plate, using a palate knife, mix UG050 Black underglaze with AC310 Silkscreen Medium. This should have a consistency of pancake batter.
Apply the Bee silkscreen DSS0113 Designer Silkscreen Bugs to the inside of the mug using the underglaze/silkscreen mixture.
Apply 3 coats of SW250 White Opal to the entire inside of the mug and to the to ¼ of the outside of the mug, overlapping Micro Champagne slightly.
