Large Rounded Mushroom
- Begin with properly fired shelf cone 04 bisque. Moisten a clean sponge and wipe bisque to remove any dust.
- Using a CB406 #6 Pointed Round, apply 3 coats of SC023 Jack O’Lantern to the ribbed area under the top of the pointed mushroom.
- Using a CB604 #4 Soft Fan, apply 3 coats of SP206 Speckled Sunkissed to the top of the mushroom.
- Using a CB 604 #4 Soft Fan, apply 3 coats of SC098 Slime Time to the stem of the mushroom. Allow to dry.
- Stilt and fire to shelf cone 06.
Large Pointed Mushroom
- Begin with properly fired shelf cone 04 bisque. Moisten a clean sponge and wipe bisque to remove any dust.
- Using a CB404 #4 Pointed Round, apply 3 coats of SP206 Speckled Sunkissed to the dots on the top of the mushroom.
- Using a CB406 #6 Pointed Round, apply 3 coats of SC024 Dandelion to the ribbed area under the top of the mushroom.
- Using a CB406 #6 Pointed Round, apply 3 coats of SP275 Speckled Orange-A-Peel to the top of the mushroom. Avoid the dots.
- Using a CB604 #4 Soft Fan, apply 3 coats of SC098 Slime Time to the ribbed area of the stem.
- Using a CB604 #4 Soft Fan, apply 3 coats of SC023 Jack O’Lantern to the bottom section of the mushroom stem. Allow to dry.
- Stilt and Fire to shelf cone 06.
Additional Adaptations & Tips if needed
- You can use a CB106 Script Liner in place of the Pointed Round brushes.
- Colors of your choice can be used in place of the colors used here.
- Make sue to mix the Speckled Stroke & Coat colors well to disburse the specks.
