1. Begin with properly fired shelf cone 04 bisque. Moisten a clean sponge and wipe bisque to remove any dust.
2. Using an AB710 ¾ Flat Shader, apply OS481 Cinnamon to the corn and bottom of the piece. Allow to Dry!
3. Using a DB803 #8 Round, drybrush the dark-colored corn with SS399 Terra Cotta, 2-3 coats. Then drybrush with SS211 Orange Rust. Highlight some of the corn kernels with OS439 Hot Orange.
4. Using a DB803 #8 Round, drybrush the yellow-colored corn with SS254 Golden Ochre, 2-3 coats. Then drybrush with OS436 Gold. Highlight with OS85 French Vanilla then with SS045 Buttermilk on some of the corn kernels.
5. DB801 #3 Round, Drybrush the spotted corn cornels with OS 460 Navy then highlight with OS480 Garnet Red. Leave some with just the OS460 Navy.
6. Using an AB710 ¾ Flat Shader, apply SS194 Medium Taupe to the corn husks and SS198 Chocolate to the stem.
7. Using a DB803 #8 Round, drybrush the corn husks with SS127 Medium Portrait followed by OS 485 French Vanilla then SS045 Buttermilk.
8. Using a DB802 #5 Round, drybrush the stem with SS194 Medium Taupe then SS127 Medium Portrait and a light highlighting of SS045 Buttermilk.
9. Using a AB709 3/8 Angular Shader, Shade the deep crevices of the corn with OS481 Cinnamon and the corn husks with SS194 Medium Taupe. Allow to dry!
10. Using an AB710 ¾ Flat Shader, apply 2 coats of AC502 Matte Brush on Sealer. Allow to Dry!
11. DO NOT FIRE!
