Stoneware Beaded Pumpkins

Pumpkin #1: SW-206 Melon, SW-303 Manganese Wash

1. Cast the mold in usual manner with stoneware slip. Allow to dry. Clean the greenware with a Clean-Up Tool. Bisque fire to cone 04.
2. Begin with properly fired shelf cone 04 bisque. Moisten a clean sponge and wipe bisque to remove any dust.
3. Using the Soft Fan, apply three coats of SW-206 Melon to the pumpkin.
4. Using the Detail Liner, apply one coat of SW-303 Manganese Wash to the stem and over the beaded texture on pumpkin.
5. Fire to cone 5/6. Image shown fired to cone 6.

Pumpkin #2: SW-250 White Opal, SW-304 Copper Wash

1. Cast the mold in usual manner with stoneware slip. Allow to dry. Clean the greenware with a Clean-Up Tool. Bisque fire to cone 04.
2. Begin with properly fired shelf cone 04 bisque. Moisten a clean sponge and wipe bisque to remove any dust.
3. Using the Soft Fan, apply three coats of SW-250 White Opal to the pumpkin.
4. Using the Detail Liner, apply one coat of SW-304 Copper Wash to the stem and over the beaded texture on pumpkin.
5. Fire to cone 5/6. Image shown fired to cone 6.
