Stoneware Pint Jugs

Left Jug

1. Begin with soft fired stoneware bisque. Moisten a clean sponge and wipe bisque to remove any dust. 
2. Use the Soft Fan to apply 3 coats of SW-128 Cordovan over the entire jug. 
3. Use the Soft Fan to apply 2 coats of SW-131 Birch over the lower section of the jug. 
4. Use a clean sponge to wipe the excess glaze off the foot. 
5. Fire to cone 5/6. (Sample was fired to cone 6) 

Middle Jug

1. Begin with soft fired stoneware bisque. Moisten a clean sponge and wipe bisque to remove any dust.  
2. Use the Soft Fan to apply 2 coats of SW-106 Alabaster on the bottom half of the jar. 
3. Use the Soft Fan to apply 3 coats of SW-106 Alabaster on the top half. 
4. Use the Soft Fan to apply 2 coats of SW-154 Shipwreck to the bottom half.   
5. Use the Script Liner to apply 1 heavy coat of Light Flux to the ledge of the jar.  
6. Use a clean sponge to wipe the excess glaze off the foot.  
7. Fire to cone 5/6. (Sample was fired to cone 6) 

Right Jug

1. Begin with soft fired stoneware bisque. Moisten a clean sponge and wipe bisque to remove any dust. 
2. Use the Soft Fan to apply 3 coats of SW-176 Sandstone to the lower section of the jug. 
3. Use the Soft Fan to apply 3 coats of SW-130 Copper Jade the top section of the jug. 
4. Use a clean sponge to wipe the excess glaze off the foot. 
5. Fire to cone 5/6. (Sample was fired to cone 6)
