Accent Swirl Planter

Instructions: Project instructions below. Mayco encourages you to vary colors, patterns and techniques to create your own designs.

1. Begin with properly fired shelf cone 04 Bisque. Moisten a clean Sponge and wipe Bisque to remove any dust.
2. Using a CB-604 #4 Soft Fan, apply 2-3 Coats of EL-108 Jade Moss to the inside of the planter. Allow to dry.
3. Using a CB-604 #4 Soft Fan, apply 2 Coats of EL-108 Jade Moss to the outside of the planter. Allow to dry. Note: Make sure to brush the Glaze out evenly. Apply 1 coat if you are a heavy glazer.
4. Pencil the swirl shapes on the outside of the planter.
5. Using the plastic tip only, apply SA-002 Black Accenta on the swirls. Hold the tip off the piece and allow the Accents to drop onto the piece.  Allow to dry.
6. Stilt and fire to shelf cone 06.
