Spring is just around the corner and these flowers are sure to inspire you in your garden.

Instructions
Begin with properly fired shelf cone 04 bisque. Moisten a clean sponge and wipe bisque to remove any dust.
Thin SC-9 Jaded with some water and apply 1 coat to the inside of the dish using a CB-604 #4 Soft Fan.
Using a CB-604 #4 Soft Fan, apply SC-28 Blue Isle in random areas and when the glaze is still damp press in a paper towel and remove to create a texture. Repeat with SC-9 Jaded and with SC-31 The Blues, overlapping colors, while adding in SC-75 Orange-A-Peel and SC-41 Brown Cow. Keep sections of color predominantly blues and oranges with brown. Create 2 - 3 layers of color build up, using the texturing with paper towels technique. Allow to dry.
When dry, use a pencil to draw in the pointy six petal flowers.
Apply 1 thick coat of SC-74 Hot Tamale to the centers of the flowers. While glaze is still damp, press with paper towels to remove some glaze.
Using a CB-110 #10/0 Liner with SC-15 Tuxedo, vein the center of the petals.
Condition a CB-106 #6 Script Liner with AC-525 Brush Cleaner. Apply a good coat of AC-302 Wax Resist to the flower petals' centers. Clean brush immediately with AC-525 Brush Cleaner after applying the AC-302 Wax Resist.
Using a CB-106 #6 Script Liner, apply 2 coats of SC-34 Down to Earth around the waxed flowers, adding in a little SC-15 Tuxedo next to the flowers for shading.
Using a CB-106 #6 Script Liner, apply 2 coats of SC-75 Orange-A-Peel to the edge of the bowl.
Using a CB-604 #4 Soft Fan, apply 3 coats of EL-112 Tornado Sky to the back of the platter.
