Project Info

  1. Begin with properly fired shelf cone 04 bisque. Moisten a clean sponge and wipe bisque to remove any dust.
  2. Place some FN-009 Black into a small cup and add a little bit of water to slightly dilute it. It should be the consistency of a coffee cream. Pour this into the mug and roll around to completely coat the interior of the mug. Drain out the excess glaze and keep mug inverted until it has lost its shine. Wipe off any glaze from the outside using a damp sponge. Allow to dry. Note: Instead of rolling the glaze inside the mug you could brush in 3 coats of FN-009 Black.
  3. Using a CB-604 #4 Soft Fan, apply 1 coat of SC-11 Blue Yonder on the outside of the mug. With a damp sponge, wipe back leaving the color heavy in the crevices.
  4. Using a CB-604 #4 Soft Fan, apply 2 coats of FN-037 Chartreuse on the outside of the mug except for the teeth.
  5. Using a CB-106 #6 Script Liner, apply 2 coats of SC-16 Cotton Tail on the teeth.
  6. Using a CB-106 #6 Script Liner, apply 1 coat of SC-15 Tuxedo on the eye and nose areas.
  7. Using a CB-106 #6 Script Liner, apply 1 coat of S-2101 Crystal Clear Brushing on the teeth. Allow to dry.
  8. Stilt and fire to shelf cone 06.
