  1. Begin with properly fired shelf cone 04 bisque.  Moisten a clean sponge and wipe bisque to remove any dust.
  2. Place some S-2101 Crystal Clear Brushing into a small cup and add a little bit of water to slightly dilute it (about 3 parts glaze and 1 part water).  It should be the consistency of a coffee cream.  Pour this into the inside of the owl and roll around to completely coat the interior of the owl.  Drain out the excess glaze and keep owl inverted until it has lost its shine. Wipe off any glaze from the outside using a damp sponge. Allow to dry.
  3. Using a CB-106 #6 Script Liner, apply 2 coats of SP-215 Speckled Tuxedo around the wings and letting it fade out into the bird’s chest.
  4. With a Pencil and AC-230 Clay Carbon Paper, transfer the patterns to the wings and chest of the owl.
  5. Using a CB-106 #6 Script Liner, apply 2 coats of SC-Tu Tu Tango and SC-24 Dandelion to make the candy corns. They don’t have to be perfect because when they get outlined it will clean them up a lot.
  6. Using a CB-110 #10/0 Mini Liner, apply 1 coat of SC-15 Tuxedo around the candy corns and on the spider web.
  7. Using a CB-106 #6 Script Liner, apply 3 coats of SC-77 Glo Worm to the eyes.
  8. Using a CB-604 #4 Soft Fan, apply 3 coats of SP-213 Speckled Grapel to the head.
  9. Using a CB-202 #2 Detail Liner, apply 2 coats of SC-15 Tuxedo to the pupil and SC-5 Tiger Tail to the beak and feet.
  10. Using a 604 #4 Soft Fan, apply 1 coat of S-2101 Crystal Clear Brushing to the chest and wings of the owl. Allow to dry.
  11. Stilt and fire to shelf cone 06/05.
